This functional we called - SoundScope Air.

SoundScope Air is a two-way AirPlay. In addition to the ability to stream the AirPlay stream from any iOS, MAC or Android and PC devices (using special programs), there is also the ability to stream music from the server to any device that supports AirPlay function. Whether it's a conventional portable BoomBox or a serious system (for example, an AV receiver with an AirPlay) - automatically it becomes possible to increase the number of audio zones. Once the AirPlay device appears on the public network, you can add it as one more zone and expand the number of existing wired audio zones built into our system.

The number of built-in audio players remains the same (and it, as a rule, is equal to the figure after the index MR - MR1, MR2, MR3, MR4, MR8, MR12, MR16, MR20, MR24),

But the number of "wireless" zones is increasing. The number of zones is limited by the system model. Models MR1, MR2 allow you to add 3 AirPlay zones, MR3, MR4- 5 AirPlay zones, the rest up to 10 additional "wireless" zones. "Wireless" is a conditional concept. It is desirable for greater stability and not to load the WiFi network channel, make wired connection of zones, but there are dozens of objects handed over, where the system was expanded on a WiFi channel.

What gives such a solution?

First, the issue of compatibility and integration of two systems - Home Cinema and Audio Multiroom system is closed. The times when you had to use the control flip-flops to remove the control signal from the AV receiver unit or the multiroom and switch the theater's rear acoustics to the multiroom mode are remembered as a relic of the past. Now, to activate the sound in the living room, it's enough in the management application of our system, to include the necessary zone and the built-in software module to send the network command via the AirPlay protocol to turn on the AV receiver. When adjusting the sound in the application, the sound level control commands will be transmitted through the network accordingly. Now manage all the sound in the house from one application and without additional control systems.
