The new version of the software V4.9.2 - for the consoles Soundcraft Vi1, 2, 4 and 6 is already available
The software for the Soundcraft Vi1, 2, 4 and 6 consoles has been updated. The release of the new software version ensures the compatibility of the MSBi staging boxes with the output range of Vi, and also eliminates the problems that were detected with the previous version - V4.9.1.
For maximum stability of the devices we recommend installing the updated software as fast as possible on all Vi-1, 2, 4 and 6 consoles.
The list of corrected errors and implemented improvements:
Compatibility with MSBi (the output cards were incorrectly displayed on Vi consoles)
Vi1 could be reloaded if two events containing a MIDI protocol were loaded sequentially;
The choice of the channel for the MIDI protocol could vary from "IN1: CH1" to "NO DEVICE" after the signals were deleted.
Vi1 ViSi Remote: The main L and R faders are now linked, because they are on the console to prevent accidental changes in the L-R level.
Please note that the updated version of the V4.9.2 software can not be installed on the Vix00 / x000 console. The current version of the V6.4.1 software for these consoles is available on the Soundcraft web page, as well as in our "Programs" section.
Offline editor
The updated version of the offline editor Virtual Vi is now also freely available. It fixes the errors of the previous version, so you can preconfigure the Show files.

For consoles Vi2,4 & 6
Note that for Vi2 / 4/6 consoles when upgrading to software version 4.9.0 or higher, the local river's DSP and FX cards must be installed in the correct slots. For older versions of the 4.9.0 versions of the software, this did not play a significant role, because even if the cards were installed in uncharacteristic slots, the program did not react to it at all. Check the placement of your DSP and FX cards before upgrading to version 4.9.2. The correctness of placement in slots can be checked with the Software Update Manual, which is also available for download.
For Vi1 console
Note that the Vi1 consoles use hibernate mode for quick loading. This means that when updating the software, you should closely monitor the progress of the entire procedure. Please download and read the Update Instructions before starting the process.
